Traces

Traces presents a collection of 10 photo books, each distinguished by image content, size, page count, and binding styles. Made during walks in various natural sites across Florida, the images capture the landscape through a process of rule-based photography. The rules governing each site's photography are deliberately crafted, altering with each location, fostering an element of chance and breaking away from traditional photographic tropes. The books and their installation invite interaction, exploration, and reflection on the dynamic interplay between artist, viewer, and environment.
